Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026

This policy is a starting template. Have it reviewed by qualified legal counsel before relying on it.

1. Who we are

Aloudo (aloudo.online) is an English learning service operated by Đức Quyền, a company based in Singapore ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use Aloudo, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, email address and the level you choose.
  • Learning data — lessons completed, answers, scores, streaks and review history.
  • Voice recordings — audio you record during speaking exercises, and the text transcribed from it.
  • Messages with the AI tutor — what you write or say to the tutor and its replies.
  • Technical data — basic device and browser information needed to keep the service secure and working.

3. How we use your information

  • To run your lessons, give you feedback on speaking and writing, and track your progress.
  • To keep the service safe, reliable and free from abuse.
  • To contact you about your account or, if you agree, about new features.

We do not show ads, we never sell personal data, and your recordings and answers are never used to train AI models.

4. The AI tutor and service providers

Aloudo's AI tutor uses a large language model from a third-party AI provider. When you use the tutor, the relevant parts of your conversation are sent to that provider to generate a response, under commercial terms that do not allow them to be used for model training. We also use trusted providers for hosting, storage and email. Each provider receives only the data it needs to do its job.

5. Children and teenagers

Aloudo is designed to be safe for teenagers. Learners under 16 should use Aloudo with the consent of a parent or guardian, who may contact us at any time to review or delete their child's data.

6. Security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to people who need it to run the service. Voice recordings are kept only as long as needed to give you feedback, unless you choose to keep them in your history. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data unless the law requires us to keep it.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), Vietnam's personal data protection law and other applicable laws. Most of this can be done in your account settings; for anything else, email us.
